These terms govern your use of the A1 Home Services LLC website and the services we provide. By using this website or requesting services from A1 Home Services LLC, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the site or our services.
A1 Home Services LLC is a roofing and exterior restoration company based in Townsville, North Carolina. We serve homeowners primarily in Vance, Granville, Warren, Franklin, Wake, and Durham counties. These terms are governed by the laws of North Carolina.
Our roof inspections are provided at no charge and with no obligation to proceed with any repair, replacement, or insurance claim. Requesting an inspection does not create a contract. Receiving an inspection report does not obligate you to hire A1 for any work. If you decide not to proceed, there is no fee and no follow-up unless you request one.
Written estimates provided by A1 are valid for 30 days from the date of issue, unless otherwise stated in the estimate document. Estimates are based on conditions observed at the time of inspection. If additional damage is discovered after work begins (e.g., deteriorated decking not visible until tear-off), we will document it and notify you before proceeding with additional work.
When we perform work under your homeowner's insurance proceeds, the contract between you and A1 reflects the scope of work approved by your carrier. That scope may be supplemented — meaning additional line items may be filed with your carrier if warranted by conditions discovered during the job. We will notify you of any supplements filed.
A1 works for you, not your insurance company. We represent your interests in documenting damage and negotiating a fair scope. We are not a licensed public adjuster, and we do not provide legal or insurance-policy advice. For coverage disputes, consult your carrier or an attorney.
You are responsible for paying your deductible directly to A1. It is against NC law (and most policy terms) to waive, absorb, or otherwise discount your deductible on insurance-funded work. We comply with this law.
Payment terms are specified in the written contract for each job. In general: no deposit is required before insurance claim approval; payment is due upon completion unless a draw schedule is agreed in writing. Accepted forms: cash, check, and major credit cards. Financing, where available, is governed by the terms of the financing partner.
Manufacturer material warranties are passed through to you as the homeowner. Warranty registration is completed by A1 at the conclusion of your project. Workmanship warranties, if applicable, are specified in your written contract.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, A1 Home Services LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of this website or our services, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from services rendered shall not exceed the amount paid by you to A1 for the specific work at issue.
This website is for informational purposes and lead generation only. You may not use it to transmit spam, malware, or unlawful content. We reserve the right to refuse service or block access to anyone who misuses the site.
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent update. Continued use of the website after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
