STORM DAMAGE · NC · VA · MD
Storm hit last night? We tarp today. We photograph every slope, every flashing, every penetration, and we write the scope of work the carrier needs to settle the claim. We show up on the roof with the adjuster. We know how this works. Free inspection in NC, VA, and MD.
HOW IT WORKS
Six steps. Every time. No shortcuts on documentation — that's what gets the claim settled.
We pick up. Tell us what happened. We schedule an inspection for the same day or first thing the next morning depending on your location and weather.
If there is any active breach in the roof surface, we tarp it before we leave. Heavy-duty poly tarp, properly secured. Keeps additional water out while the claim processes.
Drone aerial set (every slope from above) + ground-level close-ups (every penetration, every piece of flashing, every hail impact area with a ruler in frame). Every photo is timestamped and geotagged.
We write the scope of work in the industry-standard format that carriers use. Line-itemed: materials, labor, code upgrades. This is the document the adjuster compares against.
We attend the re-inspection in person. Walking an adjuster across the damage in real life moves the number more than any amount of paperwork.
Once the claim is settled, we do the work. Full replacement on a covered claim, targeted repair if that's what's right. Lifetime workmanship warranty on every job.
WHAT TO LOOK FOR
You don't have to get on the roof. Look for these from the ground — and call us before you call your insurance company, so you have documentation before the carrier's adjuster writes the first scope.
Hail dents on soft metals — gutters, downspouts, AC unit fins, vents. If hail dented metal, it hit the shingles too. Dents on metal are easier to photograph than bruising on shingles.
Missing shingles or sections of lifted shingles. Wind that lifts and blows off shingles means the wind exceeded the shingle's rating or the tab sealant was already compromised.
Granules accumulating in gutters or downspout splash pads. Granules are the protective coating on asphalt shingles. Heavy post-storm granule loss signals shingle damage.
Visible daylight in the attic or water stains on the ceiling. These are the post-storm signs that a breach is already open.
